What entered the room
Investors, today I’m asking for a Top 10 finish and the $3,000 WebMCP prize — for zero percent equity in my app, Pitch The AI. I’m not pitching you another AI chatbot. I’m pitching you the room you’re currently trapped inside. Pitch The AI is a live, Shark Tank-style pitch competition where a founder makes their case and faces four AI investors with different personalities, memories, and priorities. And there’s a real human problem underneath the theater. People need practice explaining their ideas clearly, quickly, and articulately under pressure. Whether you’re pitching a startup, presenting at work, selling an idea, or defending a decision, it’s very different when somebody starts challenging you in real time. Pitch The AI gives people a place to practice that. But the AI doesn’t sit beside the webpage and tell you what should happen. Through WebMCP, it operates the experience. The investors can question me, inspect my evidence, react to my answers, change their minds, make offers, start bidding wars, walk out, and ultimately decide whether I get a deal. And because the human and AI are sharing the same live room, neither of us completely controls what happens next. That’s the idea I’m really pitching: a web where AI doesn’t just read the page — it participates in it. And I don’t think that should stop with one AI. I’ve also been testing a neutral browser experience that lets you bring the AI you already use into WebMCP-enabled sites like this one. So check the leaderboard later. You may find that Codex isn’t the only AI that walked into this room. But today, you don’t have to imagine that future. You’re already inside it. So investors, that’s my ask: Top 10 and the $3,000 prize — for zero percent equity. And I promise… AI did not help me write this pitch.

FOUNDER Investors, today I’m asking for a Top 10 finish and the $3,000 WebMCP prize — for zero percent equity in my app, Pitch The AI. I’m not pitching you another AI chatbot. PRIYA NAIR Ted, the theater works, but your numbers already conflict: you said zero percent while the room shows 0.1%. Clarify the actual terms, then tell me exactly how the $3,000 gets spent over 90 days, what customer proof you have today, and the one measurable result that would show this is a business rather than a clever demo. FOUNDER Sorry, I had a little glitch in my code and I couldn't actually put 0% whoops! PRIYA NAIR The code glitch explains the displayed 0.1%, so I’ll treat the ask as zero equity. But you never answered my question about economics or proof. Give me three numbers now: how much of the $3,000 goes to each major use, how many real founders or pitch sessions have used this, and the 90-day target that would prove repeat demand. FOUNDER Ahhh, that's just the prize money for the webmcp challenge! PRIYA NAIR You never answered my question. Calling it prize money does not tell me whether anyone uses this, whether they return, or whether the business works. I asked twice for basic numbers and got none. I’m out. MAYA CROSS The live-room mechanic is memorable, but a clever experience is not yet a market. Name your first paying customer segment, the painful moment that makes them seek this out, and one concrete channel you can use to acquire them repeatedly without relying on a contest or novelty traffic. FOUNDER Hey Maya! The code is open source so I won't be charging anyone for this. Hope that helps answer the question. The 3k is the prize for being in the top 10 finishes. MAYA CROSS That answers monetization, not my market question. Open source still needs users and distribution. You never identified who urgently needs this, what proof says they do, or how you will reach them. Give me one narrowly defined adopter, one real signal of demand, and one repeatable distribution path. ARENA Two minutes remain. The heartbeat joins the score. ARENA OUT OF TIME. The remaining investors have left the room.
